Keeping COVID-19 In Check At The Practice

The Omicron strain of Covid 19 is known to be highly spreadable, some of our staff have been infected in the community, causing them to be absent and we want you to know about this.

As a precaution, the NHS requires us to introduce tougher measures to try and ensure that staff levels remain adequate and that risks of infection to patients are minimised.

We aim to remain as accessible as possible for patient care, but additional infection control safety measures and reduced staffing do have an impact on our capacity.

When offered an appointment with one of our team, if you are wary about coming to the Practice, please raise your concern with the person handling your booking. Do not put off contacting us about serious medical issues.

Due to the pandemic, seasonal illness and a backlog of patients requesting appointments, we know that it can be difficult to get through to us on the phones and that there are long waits. We apologise for this issue, and we are constantly looking at improving how we handle unprecedented demand.
