How to Register
Registering with our practice is now quicker and easier than ever.
We’ve introduced a new NHS online service called Register with a GP Surgery to make it simple for you to register with us.
Just complete a quick online form to get started – you don’t need to provide proof of address, immigration status, ID, or an NHS number.
The service is designed and run by the NHS, so your personal information is safe. It helps reduce our administrative workload and makes registering more convenient for you.
If you’d prefer, paper forms are still available from reception.

Before registering with the practice, please check that you live within our catchment area by entering your postcode below.
Catchment Area
If you need any help or have questions about our catchment area, please contact our Reception Team on 01823 285400.
Your Named GP
When you register, you will be allocated a named GP who has overall responsibility for your care and support. You will receive confirmation of this by text or letter.
You have the right to request to see a particular doctor or healthcare professional and we’ll do our best to accommodate any reasonable preference.
However, the practice may not always be able to meet specific requests – for example, to ensure an even distribution of patients amongst our GP’s.

Practice LeafletTemporary Registrations
If you are ill while away from home or if you are not registered with a doctor but need to see one you can receive emergency treatment from the local GP practice for 14 days. After 14 days you will need to register as a temporary or permanent patient.
You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months. This will allow you to be on the local practice list and still remain a patient of your permanent GP. After three months you will have to re-register as a temporary patient or permanently register with that practice.
To register as a temporary patient simply contact the local practice you wish to use. Practices do not have to accept you as a temporary patient although they do have an obligation to offer emergency treatment. You cannot register as a temporary patient at a practice in the town or area where you are already registered.
